For the last 20 years Pastor Randy Ogburn has loved, listened and led the Watertown Family of faith. He came to know Christ as Savior in 1978 by a co-worker who took the time to talk with him about the love of God. In 1980, he surrendered to the call to preach the gospel and has been faithfully doing so since that time.
Under his leadership the congregation was led to build a beautiful 200-seat sanctuary on five acres in east Lake City. Approximately 130 believers call Watertown Congregational Methodist Church home. Missions, children's ministries and Senior Adult Ministries are a testimony to the love demonstrated by its congregants.
Psalms 31 is a fitting description of Martha, Pastor Randy's wife of 40 years. Her insight and support remain a well of refreshing in the lives of all that she touches. They have five children, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
